Food recommendations:

The cattail meat is firm and chewy, with a salty and fragrant taste and a light aroma of cattail. The meat is chewy and tastes even better when dipped in vinegar.

How can you not eat salted duck eggs when you come to Gaoyou? The protein is delicate, the saltiness is moderate, not dry or astringent, and the egg yolk is juicy and smooth. When you cut it gently, the red and yellow oil slowly flows out, and the aroma is fragrant.

Eight Treasure Gourd Chicken is often served as the finale dish in traditional Gaoyou banquets, symbolizing good luck and wealth.

There are also many delicious foods waiting for you to try, such as steamed buns, hot dried bean curd, dumpling noodles, etc.!

13:00

Take a bus to Gaoyou [Yucheng Posthouse], a rare Ming Dynasty post station in China and one of the must-see places in Gaoyou. Getting to know Gaoyou starts from here. After the tour, you can also leave the scenic area to explore nearby, giving everyone enough free time to freely experience the local scenery and feel the fireworks of the world described by Mr. Wang.
