Day 1 Shanghai → Xihutou Village → Qinghuwangang → Shanghai
All day
07:00-07:15 Gather at the designated location of China-TravelNote and sign in.
Depart at 07:15, interactive and itinerary introduction on board, laughter and joy all the way
After gathering, we boarded the bus and headed to our destination, all filled with laughter and joy! (Siming Mountain is currently in peak season for viewing the autumn colors, so traffic jams are unavoidable on the mountain roads. Please be advised.)
Around 11:30, we arrived at the starting point of today's hike, Xihutou Village. After getting off the bus and warming up, we began our hike under the guidance of our leader! This route is a circular route. After passing through the village, we entered the mountains. The fallen leaves on the ground gave us a feeling of walking on a golden road.
Around 12:30 PM, we'll find a suitable spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The tourists will share their food and prepare for the upcoming summit push! After a restful break, we'll begin our climb! Qinghuwangang, located on the southwest edge of Simingshan Town in Yuyao City, Ningbo, is a mountainous area with long, steep paths. In ancient times, the forests were deserted and uninhabited, and green tigers once roamed the area, hence the name Qinghuwangang.
Around 2:30 PM, we arrived at the classic check-in spot, 979 Scenic Spot! This is the altitude of Qinghuwangang, Ningbo's highest peak. Be sure to take a photo and check in! Then we began our descent.
Around 17:00, we returned to the starting point. The bus had been waiting for a long time. We got on the bus in an orderly manner and started our return journey!
Around 21:00, we returned to Shanghai and everyone kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!
Equipment Tips for Winter Snow Trails:
1. For snow trail hikes, you must bring your own outdoor gear, including crampons, trekking poles, snow covers, cold-weather gloves, mid-to-high-top non-slip hiking shoes, and other equipment.
2. Because this route involves primarily snowy and slippery terrain, crampons are mandatory for safety reasons. These can be purchased online or at stores 2-3 days before registration. If you're late registering, you can select the "Cramps for Sale" option on the page.
3. Please select the option to collect your crampons from your tour leader on the day of your visit with a screenshot of your order. Please verify that there are no quality issues on site. Once used, they are non-refundable.
1 pair of basic crampons (steel 8-tooth chainstay, rubber mesh strap, shoe sizes 35-44)
