[Yeshebang VIP Privileges] 24-hour free airport pick-up service, worry-free arrival
Today is the gathering day. Tourists will travel to Christchurch International Airport (CHC) on their own. Upon arrival, we will provide a free pick-up service and drive to the Negombo hotel near the airport for check-in. If you arrive early, you can rest in the hotel and then explore Christchurch freely.
As New Zealand's third-largest city and the largest on the South Island, Christchurch, bordered by the vast Pacific Ocean to the east and the rolling Southern Alps to the west, has been dubbed "the most English city outside of England." Strolling its streets, you'll find historic Victorian-era architecture everywhere. Punting, a tradition originating from Cambridge and Oxford, the red double-decker buses that ply the city, and the clanking vintage trams all embody a rich sense of Englishness. After checking into your hotel, if you still have time, you can explore the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, take a rafting trip on the Avon River, ride a vintage tram through the city, check out the internet-famous cardboard cathedral, and shop at the riverside markets.

French-style architecture dominates, streets are named in French, French flags fly throughout the town, and some shops feature Rococo and Baroque decor, earning it the nickname "French Town." This unique French charm contrasts sharply with New Zealand's more English-inspired character. Playing with seagulls, strolling the town to explore shops, or savoring authentic seafood at a seaside restaurant are all perfect ways to experience French romance.

All day
Itinerary presentation
Today we depart from Christchurch and begin exploring the interior of New Zealand's South Island. Snow-capped mountains, lakes, and various activities will release your dopamine!
丨Tekapo Ripples/ Milky blue against the sky
A three-hour drive from Christchurch brings you to Lake Tekapo, a South Island destination for stargazing and flower viewing. Surrounded by the majestic Southern Alps, the tranquil lake shimmers with a faint milky blue. The sky, seemingly unobstructed by the atmosphere, reflects the lake's incredibly clear blue. Snow-capped mountaintops in the distance create a breathtaking canvas, making you feel like you've stepped right into a painting. From November to January each year, colorful lupines bloom along the lakeshore and on Mount John, creating postcard-worthy images with every click of the shutter.
丨Hiking Mount John/Checking in at the "Starry Sky" Cafe
[Yeshebang VIP Privileges] Free one drink from Starry Sky Cafe
Arriving at Lake Tekapo, the first thing to do is head to Mount John. From the summit, you'll overlook the breathtaking lake. The narrow expanse of the lake reflects the sapphire blue of the afternoon sky. Across the lake, a vast expanse of snow-capped mountains stretches out. The people and houses along the lakeshore seem as tiny as ants. Mount John houses the University of Canterbury Observatory. As one of the least light-polluted locations in the world, it's ideal for astronomical observation. Nearby, there's the internet-famous café, Astro. Order a "Saturn Latte" and gaze out over the snow-capped mountains and lake, feeling both your own insignificance and the grandeur of nature. After enjoying our coffee, we hiked down the mountain, encountering stunning scenery and vibrant travelers. It took about an hour and a half to reach the town. (Note 3)
丨Stargazing under the church/Looking up at the Milky Way and wandering in the starry sky
Located on the shores of Lake Tekapo, the Church of the Good Shepherd, named after a statue of a sheepdog, boasts a pristine, stone-built structure and is a signature feature of Lake Tekapo. At night, the church, under the starry sky, is even more breathtaking, creating a sense of cosmic wonder. Standing in complete darkness, gaze up at the twinkling starry sky beside the church, where you'll witness unique astronomical phenomena only seen in the Southern Hemisphere, including the Southern Cross, the Magellanic Clouds, and satellite galaxies of the Milky Way. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of a shooting star streaking across the night sky.

Standing by the lake, gazing at the distant snow-capped mountains and the nearby shimmering water, it's like stepping into a breathtaking painting. Beyond that, there are two other surprises worth exploring!
丨Salmon Ranch/ Fresh, sweet and tender, melts in your mouth
Before entering the national park, you'll see numerous salmon farms. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests, the farms are pollution-free. Meltwater from the snow mountains, rich in minerals, creates ideal conditions for raising high-quality king salmon. Furthermore, the constant movement of the fish, fueled by glacial water, keeps them active and healthy. To experience the unique charm of Mount Cook salmon, we recommend the Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Farm, a favorite of many food lovers. The plump, tender salmon fillet melts in your mouth with its rich, creamy flavor. The orange-red flesh exudes salmon's unique sweetness, creating a rich, layered flavor that's irresistible.

In Mount Cook National Park, the breathtaking view of Mount Cook and the surrounding glaciers from a helicopter is truly breathtaking. Therefore, we've specially arranged a [Glacier Helicopter + Glacier Hike] experience. Flying close to the steep ridges, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of Mount Cook and the surrounding peaks.
