You can go to Binjiang Park or Yiling Yangtze River Bridge to enjoy the scenery of the Yangtze River
Friends who are interested in history and culture can visit the Yichang Museum (free reservations are required in advance). Zhenjiang Pavilion across the river is a good place to enjoy the night view of the city.
Yichang’s night market stalls are also very famous, including Taozhu Road Night Market, Beimen Night Market, etc. You can enjoy the food to your heart’s content, but please pay attention to hygiene.
Day 2 Yichang → Three Gorges Dam → Longjiangping International Ski Resort → Crowne Plaza Shennongjia

After breakfast, we headed to the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area, located in the middle of the Xiling Gorge. It's the world's largest hydropower project. We first visited Tanziling, the dam's highest point, offering panoramic views of the Three Gorges Project. From here, we could admire the magnificent Three Gorges Dam, a bird's-eye view of the dam, and the twin, five-stage ship locks known as the "Fourth Gorge of the Yangtze River." We also had a distant view of the beautiful Huangniu Rock in Xiling Gorge.
Then head to the 185 Observation Deck, named after its altitude, which is 185 meters higher than the top of the Three Gorges Dam. Here you can get close to the majestic Three Gorges Dam.
Afterward, we visited the Damming River Diversion Memorial Park. You'll definitely never see such massive construction machinery! This is China's first water conservancy project theme park. Dedicated to the Three Gorges Damming River diversion project, it features displays of the project's ruins, large-scale construction machinery, and more. This vividly recreates the thrill of the Three Gorges Dam diversion project, allowing us to experience the excitement of the era firsthand.

After bidding farewell to the Three Gorges Dam, we headed to the Shennongjia Forest Area, a national nature reserve and a World Heritage site. Shennongding, at an altitude of 3,000 meters, is known as the "Roof of Central China." Snowfall is frequent from January to February, lasting up to 100 days. When it snows, you'll be treated to a vast expanse of snow-covered fields, blanketed in silver and covered in rime, creating a fairyland-like scene. It's the closest alpine natural ski resort in Southeast China, a perfect spot for Southern skiers to enjoy the snow and ski.
After arriving at the forest area, we will have dinner on our own. After a short rest, we will go to the ski resort for a night ski.

Tonight, we've specially arranged for you to experience night skiing. The ski resort is uncrowded, so we can have fun. Look up at the starry sky, accompanied by the colorful neon spotlights and dynamic music that are unique to night parties, and experience the joy of dancing with the ice and snow.
Skiers and snowboarders galloped freely in this snow-covered world, enjoying the thrill and freedom brought by speed. Whether they were experts or beginners, they all left their own footprints and laughter on the snow.
There's also a dedicated snow tubing trail for fun activities like snow tubing. Besides skiing, you can also enjoy drifting on the snow tubing, spinning and having fun in the snow. It's not just a favorite for kids, but adults will also have a blast!

Shennongjia International Ski Resort, a ski resort in southern China
Today, we're heading to Shennongjia's renowned ski resort, the Shennongjia International Ski Resort. Located at an altitude of 2,300 meters, it's one of the largest and highest ski resorts in central China! With numerous and long trails, softer snow, and state-of-the-art facilities, you can experience the charm of skiing in southern China. It's not that Harbin can't afford it, but it's more cost-effective.
After yesterday's night skiing experience, I'm sure everyone's already experienced enough! After you've got your gear, let's enjoy some fun skiing! There are 13 slopes, ranging from beginner to advanced, offering a variety of challenges for both beginners and experts. Unleash your passion for skiing! There's even a ski lift. From the highest point of the resort, the view of rolling hills capped in snow creates a magnificent scene.
In addition to skiing, there are also many ice and snow entertainment projects such as sledding, snow tubing, snowmobiling, etc. Children and adults can play freely in this ice and snow world!

Overlooking the snowy forest and the beautiful mountain scenery of Shennongding
After lunch, we headed to Shennongding, known as the "Roof of Central China." The summit, at nearly 3,000 meters, unfolded as we ascended. The vast expanse of white alpine meadows, seas of clouds, forests, stone groves, and ancient trees unrestrainedly showcased the pristine beauty of nature, resembling a fairyland on earth. After a snowfall, the view of the vast expanse of primeval forest was even more breathtaking, reminiscent of a frozen wonderland. As we ascended, we took in the magnificent scenery of the vast Chinese landscape, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We also had the opportunity to see seas of clouds and rime.
We'll explore the Mystic Valley, home to the mysterious "Wild Man's" footprints, and the Shennong Valley, home to the dolomite karst landscape. From the viewing platform, you can admire the stunning Shennongjia Stone Forest. The mountainous area is prone to fog, so with a bit of luck, you'll be able to see the stunning scenery of the surrounding mountains.
In the evening, after a fun day out, you can enjoy the local specialties of Shennongjia, such as firewood rice, hanging pot with cured pork ribs, vegetables grown in the mountains, and chicken soup. They are delicious and warm.
After dinner, we continued to stay at the Crowne Plaza Shennongjia where we stayed last night. Since we were staying two nights in a row, we didn’t need to carry luggage today. I was so happy.

Today we will say goodbye to the mysterious snowy Shennongjia
After a quick nap, we drove towards Yichang . We passed the distinctive waterway, also known as the Ancient Zhao Highway, where the words "Zhaojun Village, the hometown of the beauty, and the ripples on the water surface, like a long dragon" flow through the canyon stream. The entire highway is built along the canyon stream, like a jade belt or a wandering dragon, winding along the Xiangxi River. We'll give you some time to take photos.
Here we can finally experience the unique charm of Hubei's landscape, say goodbye, and say goodbye to this trip.
After the tour, go to Yichang East Station. It is recommended to buy a ticket after 14:00;
Then we will be transferred to Yichang Airport. It is recommended to buy a ticket for the flight after 15:30.
Warm reminder: If there is no direct high-speed rail, you can transfer in Wuhan. There are many trains from Yichang to Wuhan, and the high-speed rail journey takes about 2 hours, depending on the specific schedule.
