Jiezi Ancient Town, with a history of over a thousand years, was known as "Hengqu Town" during the Five Dynasties, named after its location along the Weijiang River. Within the town are the Jin Dynasty-era Guangyan Temple, the Fengqi Mountain Scenic Area, a thousand-acre primeval forest, thousand-year-old ginkgo trees, thousand-year-old nanmu trees, a Qing Dynasty pagoda, a street of ancient buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, the site of the uprising of Song Dynasty national hero Wang Xiaobo, and the former residence of Tang Dynasty poet Tang Qiu. The town also boasts the Gulongtan, Wuguituo, and Yunwu Cave, among other attractions, with over 20 cultural relics and historical sites.

Guangyan Zen Temple: Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it has a long history and is commonly known locally as the "Ancient Temple." Built into the hillside, the temple is staggered and historically divided into upper and lower courtyards, hence the names "Upper Ancient Temple" and "Lower Ancient Temple."
