We set off on time at 09:00 and headed to Jiaxing with laughter and joy under the leadership of our team leader.

Slowly Wandering in Jiaxing
After getting off the bus, you will see the Church of the Apparition, the third largest church in the Far East. This is a rare large-scale Italian Gothic building in East China. There is a large lawn in front of the church. You can sit and take pictures on the lawn, just like spending a sunny weekend in Europe.
Next to the church is the Zicheng Ruins Park, which was built during the Huanglong period of the Wu Kingdom (231 AD) and has a history of more than 1,700 years.
Pass through the towering city gates, walk along the corridors from the Ming and Qing dynasties, gaze at the remaining ruins, and feel the historical heritage of this thousand-year-old inner city. (The inner city ruins and the Church of the Apparition of Our Lady are located next to each other, so the order of visiting them is not fixed.)
Then go to Yuehe Historic District
Yuehe River, named for its "curves that embrace the city like a moon," is a tributary of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Its winding streets and alleys crisscross the city, and its small rivers, ancient bridges, narrow lanes, and old houses evoke the rich charm of this ancient water town. Stroll through the area, savor local delicacies, visit the flower and bird market, antique market, and Zongzi Culture Museum, and savor authentic Jiaxing Zongzi.

We'll gather and head to Shenxian Lake for a circumnavigation. This secret mining area, hidden on the outskirts of Haiyan City, boasts a landscape reminiscent of a fjord. (There's no climbing involved, so please be cautious if you're planning a leisurely route.)
In case of heavy rain or hot weather, the tour will be changed to the indoor stop Jiaxing Museum or Nanhu Memorial Hall
