【Meeting time】8:15~8:30

Depart on time at 8:30, laughing and chatting all the way to Shendang Ancient Town

10:00

Encounter the Shendang Ancient Town described by Yu Hua

After getting off the bus, we headed straight to Victory Hotel to get a number (Victory Hotel was busy, so we just headed straight after getting off the bus!)

This specialty restaurant is famous for Yu Hua's novel "Xu Sanguan Selling Blood". The restaurant truly restores the scenes in the book and recreates the dining style of the 1960s and 1970s. Every time Xu Sanguan in the book sells blood, he will come here to enjoy a plate of fried pork liver and two taels of rice wine. Now it has become a "standard" of the restaurant. Teacher Yu Hua has personally tested it and it is delicious!

Buy a soy sauce milk ice cream and walk through the century-old brewery, smelling the aroma of wine wafting from the cellar. The mountains of wine jars in the factory make it seem like you're actually drying soy sauce in a century-old soy sauce drying factory. (On weekends, the factory also sells soy sauce popcorn and soy sauce cookies, which are delicious!)

Walk another 5 minutes further and you will see the Shendang Granary Creative Park, which was renovated from the old Shendang granary built in 1955. We took a photo of the granary in the huge silo building and checked in at the Granary Bookstore.

2:30 PM

Qingtu Fengyi Village

Mines, Moon Lake, Tea Gardens and Air Defense Tunnels

Historically, Fengshan was famous for stone mining, and Fengyi Village was once famous for mountain mining.

Fengyi Village is now home to stunning natural beauty, including the Moon Lake in the Mine, exploring Fengshan Mountain, and watching herons on the sandbar. The Moon Lake in the Mine, with its emerald green waters, is one of the village's iconic attractions. Halfway up Fengshan Mountain lies the site of a former military tunnel, built in the 1950s and stretching over 300 meters from north to south.

We hiked through Fengyi Village, strolled through tea gardens, gazed at Moon Lake, and passed through a 1950s mining tunnel (about 3 km long, 108 meters of ascent, a leisurely hike, please report with caution!)

4:30 PM

Windmill and sea

We drove along the road and arrived at the Haiyan Windmill. It looked like a scene from a Hayao Miyazaki animation - road, windmill, seaside.

5:30 PM
