1:30 PM

After arriving at the starting point of the hike, we warmed up and set off to find a temple located in the Liangzhu Cultural Village [Daxiong Jiang Temple]. Nestled between mountains and water, it has beautiful natural scenery, towering ancient trees and lush greenery. It is an ancient temple built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In spring, the cherry blossoms shade it, making it even more elegant. It is definitely worth a visit!

4:30 PM

Arrived at the end of the hike

Meilizhou Church was designed by Japanese architect Akio Tsushima. Its unique triangular shape and Zen-style architecture showcase a fusion of tradition and modernity, and at first glance, it feels a bit like Edinburgh's fateful destination.

One-Way Space (Bigbarn) is a bookstore with a great sense of style, often called the "Aranya of Hangzhou." It primarily sells books, creative products, and coffee, and offers a seat after purchase. They also occasionally host themed exhibitions.

The Big Roof Library is a bare concrete building designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando. The Liangzhu Culture and Art Center, nicknamed "The Big Roof" in literary circles, is a place where clear sunlight streams in through the open roof, creating a variety of light and shadow effects from different angles. Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, a lush greenery envelopes the mind, instantly reminiscent of "Kikujiro's Summer." Water is a recurring theme in Ando's work. Descending the grand staircase and stopping before the tranquil water, one is greeted by the reflections of the water, the pillars, the sun, the distant natural scenery, and even the occasional breeze, birdsong, and insect chirping...all of this truly transforms the space into a container of nature.

[Yu Niao Ji] is a trendy shopping district with cultural and creative stores, specialty restaurants, trendy brand stores, and pop-up markets. It's very good for shopping and is very suitable for City Walk. You need to eat and drink enough to have the energy to continue shopping. Hahaha.

Tourists who don't want to hike today can take the bus directly to the end point, order a cup of coffee, feel the warm sunshine under the large roof of the library, and enjoy a pleasant afternoon.

6:00 PM

Around 6:00 PM, as the sun sets, the sky appears gently shrouded in a light blue veil, tinged with a hint of purple, like a sea of lavender blossoms spreading across the horizon. The hue gradually deepens from the horizon upward, from light to dark, until it transforms into a deep cobalt blue, like a deep ocean turning into the sky, embracing the tranquility of all things. During this "Blue Hour," time seems to slow down, and everything in the world is immersed in this gentle blue. The light is naturally soft during this time, making for excellent photography.
