Day 2 Guiyang → Houzigou → Duyun

Today's itinerary
After breakfast, we'll depart for Monkey Valley. After a brief warm-up at the starting point, gear up and begin the hike. We'll descend the mountain path to the valley, where we'll find a flat, open area for a quick lunch and share our food. Afterward, we'll continue along the valley, enjoying the cool summer breeze while wading upstream. In the afternoon, we'll reach the heart of Monkey Valley, where we'll admire the cascading waterfalls, the Moon-Moon Cave, and the spectacular blue tears of the Guizhou Fairy Pond. In the afternoon, we'll hike up the mountain path to the summit of Longli Grassland. Weather permitting, we'll even catch a sunset. In the evening, we'll arrive at our pick-up point and transfer to our hotel for overnight stay in downtown Duyun. Dinner can be arranged in Duyun City, where we'll share Guizhou specialties like shrimp, sour beef, and more.


Day 3 Duyun → Luosi Ke → Libo

Today's itinerary
After breakfast, we'll drive to [Screw Shell] and arrive at the hiking starting point. After a brief warm-up, we'll gear up and begin the hike, then find an open space to share our food. After a break, we'll continue our hike along the alpine meadows, enjoying breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, we'll arrive at the filming location of "The Untamed," where we'll check out Devil's Tongue and admire the stunning Tianluoshui Waterfall, which looks like the Milky Way falling from the sky. We'll then continue our hike along the loop back to the starting point, rest briefly, and then drive to Libo County. For dinner, we'll meet up in Libo County for a special Guizhou dish, including tofu pudding and grilled fish.


Day 4 Libo → Funnel Forest → Five-Eyed Bridge

Today's itinerary
After breakfast, we'll travel by bus to the Maolan Nature Reserve and arrive at the Five-Eyed Bridge hike starting point. After a brief warm-up, we'll begin our hike, following a mountain path into primeval forest, lush with vegetation and towering trees. Around noon, we'll find a spacious mountain pass for lunch. After lunch, we'll continue along the forest trail until we reach the Funnel Forest around 2:00 PM. On clear days, the Tyndall Light at the cave entrance will be a breathtaking spectacle, making for a truly memorable photo opportunity. We'll take a short break at the cave entrance before continuing our ascent along the forest path. In the afternoon, we'll reach the hike's final destination and transfer to the Five-Eyed Bridge, where we'll stay at a farmhouse. Dinner can be arranged at the farmhouse, where you can sample local farm specialties on a AA basis.


Day 5 Five-Eye Bridge → Maolan Four Caves → Five-Eye Bridge → Drop-off

Today's itinerary
After breakfast, a quick warm-up at the inn, gear up and begin your hike along the mountain trail to the Maolan Four Caves. Start by visiting the first cave, Golden Lion Cave, a pristine, unlit cave that's easily accessible. Then, after a short climb, you'll reach the second cave, Nine Caves Heaven. The second cave hall is spacious, and on a clear day, you can even see the Tyndall Light streaming down from its entrance. Continuing along the trail, you'll reach the third cave, Fairy Cave, and the fourth cave, Black Cave. Fairy Cave is a place of prayer for locals. Exit the Black Cave and follow the trail downhill. Return to the inn around noon, collect your belongings, and board the return bus. Enjoy a light meal at a service area along the way.
