We boarded the bus on time and set off. Along the way, we interacted with the tour leader, introduced ourselves, and explained the itinerary, with lots of laughter and fun!
10:30
Arriving at the starting point, we disembarked and warmed up before setting off. The first half of the hike involved a lot of road traffic, but it served as a welcome warm-up. Here, we found a quaint village with a sparse population, a stark contrast to the concrete jungles of the city. After about half an hour, the view suddenly opened up, and the Da'ao Reservoir leaped into view. We continued along the ancient trail, passing through bamboo forests, woods, and tea plantations. The mountains were filled with birdsong, and the wild paths were fragrant with flowers, creating a tranquil and tranquil environment. Due to the lack of pedestrians, the ancient trail gradually became obsolete, but later, a trail emerged. Fortunately, a hiking enthusiast had already cleared a path for us, and we followed in their footsteps.
12:00
We reached the summit of Emmajian and gazed out over the surrounding mountains, all at our feet. It's said that on clear days, you can even see the Qiantang River! How could we miss such a beautiful view? Everyone rested there, shared their food, and the picnic began!
After lunch, we rested for a while before continuing our journey. Everyone was reminded to pick up their trash! We then descended, the scent of flowers accompanying us as we made our way down the mountain. We also encountered several small waterfalls along the way, which was quite fascinating!
4:00 PM
We passed Xiaoao and Daao and returned to our starting point, Yuelian Village. The bus waited for a long time here, and after gathering, we boarded the bus back to Shanghai.
7:00 PM
Arriving at the departure point in Shanghai, we hugged each other affectionately, kissed goodbye with tears, and look forward to our next trip!
Note: The route is relatively primitive, and there are fallen bamboos across the road in some sections, which you need to cross over; if it is sunny after rain, there will be insects, so if you mind, do not sign up!
