Arrive at Daqishan and take a leisurely small loop hike. You can cool off and play in the water pools along the way, so there is no need to rush. Daqishan National Forest Park is a natural air conditioner in the summer. As you walk through thousands of acres of bamboo forest, the cool air will make you feel the obvious temperature difference immediately, making it a great place to escape the summer heat.

Arriving at the mountaintop reservoir, the waters of Daqishan Lake are so blue they barely need color correction! It truly lives up to its nickname, "Hangzhou's Little Jiuzhaigou." The mountaintop sapphire lake is dotted with vibrantly colored koi. The mountains are dotted with gurgling streams, making it a perfect summer destination for tourists looking to hike! Hiking, breathing in the sun, tracing the streams, playing in the water...it's all effortless! After a few sunny days, the waters of Daqishan become even clearer.

Head to Yaolin Road to find Tonglu delicacies!

Tonglu's delicious food is concentrated on Yaolin Road. Yu's mung bean pancakes, Brother Qiang's scallion pancakes and Taiwanese rice balls, Hengxiang Noodle House, Old Lady Restaurant, Zhouji Pig's Hoof Flower... I want to eat! I want to eat! I want to eat!

Go to Yaolin Wonderland

Arrive at Yaolin Wonderland. This cave, known for its winding terrain and magnificent rock formations, is considered "the crown of all caves in China." Painter Ye Qianyu praised it as "rare in China and rare in the world." It's a perfect summer escape!

Return to the bus station and depart for Hangzhou

Arrival in Hangzhou

Driving time: 4 hours

Hiking: The Daqishan small loop is about 5 kilometers long with an ascent of about 150 meters; the Yaolin Wonderland is 1.5 kilometers long with almost no ascent.

Note: Daqishan Scenic Area will undergo renovations to Tianchi and other areas, scheduled to begin on October 10, 2025. To ensure the safety of visitors, Daqishan National Forest Park will be temporarily closed during the renovations, in accordance with safety management regulations. The closure is expected to last for six months! Tourists interested in visiting should head there as soon as possible.
