1. We will pick you up at hotels on Xiamen Island around 9:00 AM. Those staying off-island need to meet up on the island. (For those coming from Guangdong, we will pick you up at Yunxiao Station around 11:00 AM.)
Before entering Dongshan Island, don't miss Yunxiao Kiln Chicken (about a 20-minute drive) in this small town at the junction of southern Fujian and Chaoshan. Experience the joy of chicken skin sticking to your mouth. The kiln-roasted golden combination of corn, sweet potatoes, and eggs, all served in one pot, is so fragrant!
3. After lunch, arrive at Dongshan Island (about 30 minutes by car), check in at the hotel and take a short rest
4. Depart for the pier at approximately 2:30 PM (approximately 40 minutes by car) and board a small speedboat (capacity 4-6 people) to the upgraded Fishbone Sandbar, a hidden gem of Chengzhou Island (approximately 5 kilometers away). This island is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on one side. At low tide, an umbrella-shaped beach (locals call it "Umbrella Island") appears in the middle of the ocean, covering over 100 acres. The water is crystal clear, and you can even catch a small wave (approximately 1 hour).
5. In the evening, visit the Instagram-inspired Sicilian-style [Paradise Bay 360° Panoramic Seaview Skylight Luxury Camp] and watch the sunset on the charming beach
6. In the evening, have a BBQ party with music at the beach. Those who know how to barbecue will be in charge of the barbecue, while those who don't know how to do it will help massage the back or sing to entertain everyone. Eat barbecue and sing karaoke (the main dishes are fried noodles and sweet potatoes)
7. Around 20:00 [Beach Bonfire Party] Accompanied by fireworks, various interactive activities will be held for everyone to have fun together (in case of rain or policy reasons, it will be cancelled, and there will be no refund for the free items)
8. Overnight at a 4-diamond hotel in the center of Tongling Town (about a 15-minute drive from Paradise Bay Beach). Night owls can also arrange for a late-night snack.
Day 2 Dongshan Island Hotel → / → → Sea Fishing → / → Nanmen Bay → / → Yunxiao Station (if any) → / → Xiamen
All day
1. At around 9:00 AM, head to the Lu Xiaobai Marine Base (approximately a 30-minute drive and a 2-hour tour). Join the captain on a boat trip out to sea to collect the crab cages (train cages) left by the fishermen. Besides crabs, you may also catch surprises like grouper and octopus. You can also play with pufferfish, feed fish, and go sea fishing (arrange your schedule based on your personal preference). Then, head to the Marine Recreation Center and enjoy a kayak ride in the sea pool.
2. At noon, head to Ding Street for a free meal and savor the local Minnan flavors. City Walk [Tongshan Ancient City]: Wengong Temple and Nanming Academy, find the rooftop featured in the movie "Left Ear," take photos among the colorful houses at Nanmen Bay, or find a literary cafe or teahouse to enjoy a summer island afternoon.
3. The return trip will start at around 2:30 pm (if there are tourists from Guangdong dropping you off at Yunxiao Station, please book a bus after 3:00 pm), and the trip will end around 5 pm when you return to Xiamen Island.
