Explore the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty (a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the joint burial site of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and Empress Ma), and photograph the 600-year-old ginkgo and bald cypress trees in the autumn light. Your photography guide will recommend the best angles for the shot.

·afternoon

Niu Shou Mountain Buddha Peak Palace

It is recommended to bring a wide-angle lens when photographing the Niu Shou Mountain Buddha's Crown Palace (a contemporary architectural wonder that houses the world's most sacred relic in Buddhism - the Buddha's skull relic, with a futuristic dome design). Focus on capturing the changing light and shadow of the dome and the magnificent Thousand Buddha Hall in the underground palace.

·night

Overnight mooring on the Qinhuai River: Cruise along the Qinhuai River on a painted boat

China's first historical and cultural river, the "Ten Miles of Qinhuai River" was once a microcosm of the prosperity of Jiangnan. The ancient buildings and lanterns on both sides complement each other. Photograph the reflections of the lanterns on both sides, add the outline light of the ancient buildings of Confucius Temple, and use slow shutter speed to shoot the silky effect of carriages, horses, and water dragons.

Note: 1. If the autumn scenery on Shixiang Road is not good, focus on photographing the Yanque Lake and the exterior of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. The best autumn scenery of redwood and ginkgo varies.

Day 3 Nanjing → Yangzhou

·morning

Qixia Mountain Red Leaves: Climbing Qixia Mountain

This is one of the representative places for autumn colors in Nanjing ("the most beautiful mountain in Jinling", one of the four major places for viewing maple leaves in China, and the thousand-year-old Qixia Temple is hidden in the mountain). You can take pictures of the scenery of the red leaves covering the mountain and the ancient temple.

·afternoon

Slender West Lake in Yangzhou: Visit the park to photograph Slender West Lake (Yangzhou's iconic scenic spot, known for its thinness, blending southern gardens with northern landscapes. Its Five Pavilion Bridge is considered one of the "most beautiful bridges in China"). Capture the "Autumn Waves Reflecting the Pagoda" (Five Pavilion Bridge + White Pagoda) and the ripples on the water as a cruise ship passes by. In the evening, photograph the Twenty-Four Bridges at sunset.

·night

Dongguan Street Culture: Walk around Dongguan Street (Yangzhou's ancient street from the Ming and Qing dynasties, 1,122 meters long, home to shops such as Yechun Tea House and Xie Fuchun, and the core area for experiencing Yangzhou's slow life), photograph old street shops and street craftsmen, and use the camera to record the atmosphere of urban life.

Day 4 Yangzhou → Yancheng

All day

Drive to Yancheng in the morning.

·afternoon

Yancheng Red-crowned Crane Wetland: Enter the Yancheng Red-crowned Crane Wetland (China's largest wintering habitat for red-crowned cranes and an important home for the globally endangered species, with a unique wetland ecological landscape). In the professional birdwatching area, photograph the red-crowned cranes flying in flocks and wading in the water to forage, and be guided to capture dynamic scenes with a high-speed shutter (1/1000s and above).

4:00 PM

Chinese Elk Park: Take a sightseeing bus to the park (the world's largest elk nature reserve, home to 60% of the world's elk population, where the "four-unlike" elk live freely) to photograph elk walking and running in the reed marshes. A telephoto lens (200mm or longer) is recommended.

Day 5 Yancheng → Yangzhou

·morning

Bird Photography in Tiaozini: Head to Tiaozini Wetland (the core area of the Yellow Sea Wetlands, a World Heritage Site, and a key stopover on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, where hundreds of thousands of migratory birds gather every year) to photograph flocks of migratory birds (such as geese, ducks, and shorebirds), and capture the spectacular sight of flocks flying over the mudflats.

·afternoon

Autumn Charms of Humble Administrator's Garden: Photograph the Humble Administrator's Garden (a representative of Suzhou's classical gardens and one of China's Four Great Gardens, renowned for its "lingering mountains and waters, and exquisite halls and pavilions," where the withered lotus leaves and red maples embody its elegant autumn scenery). Capture the "Four Wonders of Autumn"—withered lotus leaves, red maples, ginkgo biloba, and the fragrance of osmanthus, with a focus on capturing the autumn landscape framed by the window lattices of the pavilions and pavilions.

·night

Night view of Jinji Lake: Photograph Jinji Lake (the core landscape of Suzhou Industrial Park, where the Oriental Gate ("Big Pants") is a city landmark. The city lights and the reflections on the lake create a stunning night scene). Instruct students to use a tripod with a slow shutter speed (10-20s) to capture the colorful effects.

Day 6 Suzhou → Tiger Hill → Shantang → Suzhou Station → Wuxi Airport

·morning

Tiger Hill Portrait Creation: Shoot ancient-style portraits at Tiger Hill (Suzhou's "city card" with a 2,500-year history. The "Tiger Hill Pagoda" is the oldest existing brick pagoda in China and is known as the "No. 1 Scenic Spot in Wuzhong"). Shoot portraits in traditional Chinese clothing and gardens with Suzhou characteristics. Guide students to create artistic images using bamboo forests and stone steps.

11:00

Shantang Street Photoshoot: Photograph Shantang Street (“the most famous street in Suzhou”, built under the supervision of Bai Juyi, built along the river, with black-sailed boats, stone bridges, and Pingtan (Chinese pingtan) as a typical Jiangnan waterway scene), capturing cultural elements such as the black-sailed boats, Pingtan artists, and special snacks.

For lunch, you can try Suzhou specialty noodles.
