Arriving at the hike's starting point, Dongshan Village, nestled in the Chijin Mountains of Tangxi Town, the village is nestled against the mountainside, also known as Yuegong Mountain. The village boasts a well-proportioned layout, and its history dates back to the Song Dynasty, creating a natural and quaint atmosphere. After gathering our gear, we ascended the Yuegong Mountain Trail, passing through the reservoir and the village. On the hillside ahead, 300 acres of pink muhly grass were in full bloom, with clouds of pink floating in the wind, forming a sea of ​​flowers. Tourists rested here and took photos.

Continue your journey at the right time. Cao Cao wrote in his poem "Viewing the Vast Ocean": "Looking eastwards from Jieshi, I view the vast ocean. The water is so calm, and the mountains and islands stand tall." Climb to the top of the mountain to the Wanghai Pavilion. The mountaintop is filled with the fragrance of tea and lush greenery. On a good day, you can overlook Xiangshan Harbor. The sea and the sky merge, and ships shuttle back and forth. It's so magnificent! Have a meal on the way here.

Follow the trail down the mountain to Meixi Reservoir, stretch your legs, and get on the bus for the return trip.
