[Hokkaido] Lots of sea angels! Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum

This time, I will introduce the Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum in Abashiri, Hokkaido.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations before going, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum itself is not large, but there are many interesting things to see, such as the drift ice experience terrace at -15 degrees where you can touch the creatures of Okhotsk and real drift ice, the drift ice theater with five screens, and projection mapping. After the drift ice is transported to the building, it is transported to this room by hand.

Before entering the terrace, you will be given a wet towel, so you can proceed while swinging it around. The towel will become hard as a rock... You can also take commemorative photos with seals and Ezo red foxes.

After leaving the drift ice experience terrace, we watched the drift ice theater and the projection mapping, but what I was most fascinated by were the sea angels.
It was the first time I had seen so many sea angels.

After watching the sea angels for a while, we went to the observation terrace on the third floor. You can see Lake Abashiri.
