[Hokkaido/Abashiri] Autumn sightseeing in Abashiri🍂

This is a report from my visit to Hokkaido at the end of September!
After sightseeing in Shiretoko, I moved to Abashiri and returned home from Memanbetsu 🚗
I will introduce the tourist spots I visited during that time 💁♀️

13:30 Road to Heaven - Starting Point

28.1km straight road 🛣️

A view unique to Hokkaido.

14:30 Abashiri Prison

Speaking of Abashiri! I was reading Golden Kamuy, so I enjoyed it while imagining the scene from the manga.

16:00 Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum

Learn some trivia about drift ice! In the zone where you can enjoy a room below freezing, you can experience spinning a wet towel and it hardens! I've seen it on TV, but it was fun to actually experience it 🧊

17:00 Abashiri Quasi-National Park - Ubaranai Coral Grass Colony

It was the best season for autumn leaves 🍁 In Abashiri, there is a coral grass colony, and you can see a beautiful view of the whole place covered in red. I definitely recommend you visit this place!

I had a very fulfilling time even though it was a short time.
