Introducing Dalian Ocean Rhythm Plaza

Dalian Haizhiyun Plaza is located at the northern entrance of Binhai Road in Zhongshan District, Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. Completed in 1999, it won the Grand Prize in the Planning and Landscape category of the National Art Design Competition.

It is one of the eight scenic spots in Dalian and one of the representative squares in Dalian's square culture. It is an ideal choice for leisure and vacation.

There are 9 groups of 26 main sculptures and super-realistic sculptures in the square.

In the center of the square, there is a sculpture composed of five white steel pipes with different curvatures. It is 19.9 meters long and symbolizes that September 1999 was the 100th anniversary of the founding of Dalian.

The 21 flying seagulls symbolize the flight into the 21st century; the 50 spheres of different sizes represent the atomic structure and also imply the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
