Pulau Kukup National Park, Johor

#tesaruonbudget

Pulau Kukup is a mangrove island and one of the world’s largest uninhabited mangrove forests. The park’s boardwalks and observation towers are perfect for low-cost exploration. I went at low tide, spotting mudskippers, crabs, and egrets along the way. The entrance fee is minimal, and the ferry ride from the mainland is quick and cheap. It’s a peaceful escape, especially for birdwatchers and nature photographers looking for a day trip that barely dents the wallet.
