This is a place where the precious old buildings and storehouses of Fukunishi Honten, a historic merchant house, are preserved.
It has been designated a nationally registered tangible cultural property.
The various rooms and impressive storehouses give you a glimpse into what life was like in an old merchant house.
You can also view the old furniture and paintings in the storehouse.
After your tour, we recommend shopping at Fukunishi Honten.
The shop is located at the end of the main road, just down the street that continues from Nanokamachi Station.
