I thoroughly enjoyed the soba in a sweet broth with a generous serving of crisp Ako green onions (free of charge). Overlooking the garden, Ako Castle can be seen, and one feels like a townspeople of the Edo period. It's a recommended dining spot where you can relax while feeling the history of Ako.
