[Ako] Ikitsugiki Square and Well

It is said that when his lord, Lord of Ako Domain, Asano Takumi no Kami Naganori, caused the Matsu no Corridor Incident in Edo Castle, his retainers Hayami Tozaemon and Kayano Sanpei rushed to Ako from Edo in a fast palanquin to hear the bad news, they took a break at this well and entered the residence of Oishi Kuranosuke in the castle. Currently, the well represents the incident and the story of Chushingura with a mechanical clock. It is located on the way from the station to Ako Castle, so please check it out.
