#summervacay Exploring Alanya Castle was like stepping into a chill mix of history and insane coastal views. You hike up a bit through cute little streets (or take the cable car if you're feeling lazy), and then you’re on top of a hill with 360° views of the sea, the city, and the mountains.
The castle walls are super old and kinda crumbling in the coolest way, and you can just wander around freely, no pressure. There are spots to sit, shady corners, and so many places to snap pics it’s kinda overwhelming. The sea breeze up there? So good. It kept us cool while we strolled along the stone paths. Some parts feel like a movie set, think old towers, ancient arches, and that mix of nature creeping through the ruins.
We grabbed some fresh pomegranate juice from a tiny stand on the way down. Perfect little adventure. If you’re in Alanya, don’t skip the castle, it’s a whole vibe.
