It is rich in forest resources and is internationally famous for its cypress trees, which can be seen everywhere when walking in the forest. The five trees of Alishan are red cypress, Taiwan cypress, Taiwan fir, hemlock and Chinese pine. In addition to the sacred trees, Alishan also has many attractions worth seeing, such as the forest train, the ethereal Sisters Pond, the magnificent sea of ​​clouds, the beautiful Zhushan sunrise, Shouzhen Temple, and the century-old Ciyun Temple.
