🥾 Hiking in Alor Setar: Gunung Keriang (Crystal Hill)

Just a short drive from Alor Setar city centre lies a striking limestone hill known as Gunung Keriang, also referred to as Elephant Hill or Crystal Hill.

🧭 Hike Details:

Duration: Around 30 minutes to 1 hour to reach the summit
Trail type: Mostly stone steps, so be careful as you ascend
Trail condition: Fairly clear and well-marked
At the top: There are a few small pavilions where you can rest and enjoy the view
✨ There’s also the Gua Terus Crystal Cave, but entry requires a guide for safety reasons.

This is a great short hike near the city that offers a mix of nature, light adventure, and scenic views!
