Escape the Heat in a Cool Mountain Town: Anji Summer Retreat Guide!

Before I knew it, I've visited Anji four or five times over the past few years. Each trip brings new discoveries because Anji truly offers something for everyone! This guide compiles three summer retreat routes in Anji that are incredibly practical.

🌿Route 1 Classic Anji Tour: Anji White Tea Viewing Platform ➡️ Jiangnan Tianchi
✅Anji White Tea Viewing Platform 🐶: First-time visitors must see these breathtaking tea fields. This pet-friendly attraction is free, requiring only a sightseeing shuttle ticket to reach the mountaintop. There's a photogenic milk tea shop with stunning window views at the summit!

✅Jiangnan Tianchi 🐶: This iconic spot is Anji's must-visit destination, perfect year-round. Surrounded by emerald bamboo and mountains, it's also home to Asia's largest (world's second largest) Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station. The winding road to Jiangnan Tianchi is famously called "Zhejiang's Little Akina Pass."

✅Magical Fireflies 🐶: After daytime museum visits and stream play, witness a lifetime first - thousands of fireflies! Though compact, the park's guided tours about different firefly species fascinate. Note: Dogs must be carried throughout the visit.
