Anji's autumn rain nourishes the bamboo forest! Stay at a creekside guesthouse and watch the mountain mist and sea of clouds

🌧️ Anji's autumn rain nourishes the bamboo forest! Stay at a creekside guesthouse and watch the mountain mist and sea of clouds 🌿

Who would have thought! In the mountain hollow of Baofu Town, I discovered a "forest-style fairy residence" embraced by bamboo groves and creek water. Driving in, the whole way is surrounded by the rustling bamboo sea, and the creek's tinkling sounds like natural white noise, instantly shaking off city anxiety!

✨ The rooms are designed in a wabi-sabi style, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking layers of green. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, you can often see mist drifting over the mountain peaks—truly living inside an ink painting! With underfloor heating and a bathtub by the window, soaking while watching the mountain haze drift by makes even your pores take a deep breath~

🍂 Autumn here is full of experiences! The owner takes you to dig bamboo shoots in the back mountain (the winter bamboo shoots are super tender now!). When fishing in the creek, the water is still warm~ In the evening, gather around the fire for a barbecue; the skewers sizzle with oil, paired with Anji’s local dishes like braised pork with dried bamboo shoots and creek fish tofu—so fresh it’ll make your eyebrows fall off! If the weather is good, you can even see the Milky Way, so remember to bring your camera!

🚗 Plenty to do nearby:
1️⃣ Shenxi Gorge: 10 minutes by car, fewer people now and clear water, you can even try stream trekking (watch out for slippery moss underfoot~)
2️⃣ Jiangnan Tianchi (Heavenly Lake): 20 minutes by car, go at sunset to see the lake surface dyed golden red—breathtakingly beautiful!
3️⃣ Lingxi Mountain: Maple leaves start turning red at the end of the month; now you can capture the yellow-green gradient forest, like a spilled palette~

💡 Don’t worry about rainy days! The guesthouse offers handmade tea and snack classes, a media room, and you can gather around the stove to brew tea and listen to the rain. The housekeeper grinds fresh coffee and offers welcome fruit—super warm and thoughtful~ A little secret: the guesthouse auntie’s black rice with cured meat is so good you can’t stop at three bowls!

👉 This is what autumn should really be like~ (ps: remember to bring a light jacket, the temperature difference between morning and evening is big!)
