🌿 Discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse deep in the Anji bamboo forest! SHANAN·Shenxi is truly the coziest B&B I've ever stayed at, with super thoughtful butler-style service and a daily shuttle bus to and from the parking lot—so convenient~

🏡 The private courtyard room was such a wonderful surprise! The duplex design really understands modern needs! The living room on the first floor is perfect for tea and chatting, the bedroom on the second floor faces the bamboo forest, and the best part is that both floors have independent bathrooms. Pulling back the curtains in the morning reveals a misty mountain view, and at night you can lie on the terrace and see a sky full of stars✨

♨️ Must-try experiences:
1️⃣ Cliffside constant-temperature private hot spring
A hot spring pool hidden in the bamboo forest, with water temperature perfectly maintained at 42°C. I recommend soaking there at dusk, watching the sunset turn the entire bamboo forest golden while sipping the longan and red date tea the butler brings—so healing.

2️⃣ Mountain morning mist hike
The ancient trail right behind the guesthouse is stunning! Set off with the butler at 6 AM for a 1.5-hour easy hike, passing three viewing platforms. The last platform offers the best view, capturing the whole sea of bamboo shrouded in mist.

🍴 Food surprises:
You must try their seasonal wild banquet! The spring limited menu we had included:
- Bamboo forest chicken pot (made with free-range local chicken)
- Tender bamboo shoots stewed with ham (freshly dug spring bamboo shoots)
- Wild vegetable and shrimp steamed dumplings (handmade by the auntie!)
