A mosque with a long history from the Seljuk period

I visited the Aslanhane Mosque in Ulus, the old city of Ankara. This mosque has a long history dating back to the Seljuk period. The exterior is majestic, made of stone, while the interior is gentle, made of wood. There are antique shops and restaurants around, making it a fun area to stroll around. I was able to enjoy both history and shopping to my heart's content.
