The mosque's impressive green roof creates a beautiful contrast with the autumn leaves
I discovered Başyazıcıoğlu Mosque by chance when I went to Armada Shopping Center, three stops (Sögütözü station) from Kizilay in the center of Ankara. The autumn leaves of the surrounding trees and the green of the roof were beautiful against the blue sky. The gorgeous tiles inside are distinctive.
