Located on Anji Road in Tainan's Annan District, the Taijiang Cultural Center is a striking white building with irregular geometric shapes, resembling the undulating waves of the sea. It combines surrealist style with natural ecological elements, making it an eye-catching yet little-known landmark.
The Taijiang Cultural Center is a steel-structured concrete building divided into two sections: the theater section and the classroom section. It features a multifunctional theater, exhibition spaces, classrooms, a café, and a library, serving as a theater, library, and community college all in one.
I stumbled upon this place purely because of its unique appearance. The hollow steel-structured corridors formed by geometric shapes are particularly beautiful under the sunlight, making it a perfect spot for social media photos!
Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the center houses many units and offers numerous free exhibitions. It's a great place to explore and take photos. Next time, I definitely want to sit in the café inside and savor the super-modern architectural style of the Taijiang Cultural Center.
