Old Town, locally called 'Kaleiçi', seemed like a neighborhood where time was layered from ancient Rome to the Ottoman era. As you walk along the narrow and winding alleys, you will see traditional houses with stone walls and red roofs, and the emotional cafes and boutique shops that appear here and there were so pretty. The atmosphere itself was so romantic that I felt like I was the main character in a movie just by walking.
Not only historical sites like Hadrian's Gate, but also viewpoints where you can look down on the sea from the cliffs, so the real charm point is that you can enjoy the city and nature together.
The Mediterranean Sea that I saw while drinking Turkish coffee on the outdoor terrace at sunset was an unforgettable moment.
☀️ The historical feeling during the day, a hot place at night! Be sure to go at night!
