🚗 How to get there
The attractions are quite spread out,
so self-driving or joining a one-day tour group is recommended.

✨ One-day tour plan
Head straight to the northern route in the morning,
Wofu Temple and Mumen Temple are must-sees.
At noon, return to the county town for a bowl of authentic Zhouli Shāngxīn cold noodles.
In the afternoon, go to Shiyang Town,
visit Pilu Cave → Mingshan Temple → Peacock Cave all along the way,
arrive at Tapo before sunset.
The Huayan Three Saints are stunning under the sunset!

Wofu Temple
The largest left-lying Buddha from the Tang dynasty in the country,
with sutras carved all over its back,
and surrounded by thousands of statues,
so breathtaking it leaves you speechless.

Mumen Temple
A thousand-year-old ancient temple with a great atmosphere,
wooden structure hiding a stone pagoda inside,
housing the mummified body of a Ming dynasty national master,
full of mystery.

Pilu Cave
Filming location of "Black Myth"!
The Water Moon Guanyin is stunning,
known as the "Venus of the East,"
truly a beauty icon.

Mingshan Temple
Also a game filming location,
thousand-year weathering formed wave-like patterns,
the Bodhisattva statues are exquisitely detailed to the point of tears.

Peacock Cave
The Peacock Great Bright King statue is very majestic,
and the Jingmu stone pagoda on the mountain is also a hidden treasure.

Yuanjue Cave
A concentration of Northern Song dynasty stone carvings,
