Hakkoda Onsen Hotel: The surprising taste of Aomori beef

After taking the hotel shuttle bus for more than an hour, we went deep into the primitive beech forest of Aomori and finally arrived at the Hakkoda Onsen Hotel located in Towada-Hachimantai National Park.

The entire Hakkoda Onsen Hotel is designed as a Western-style wooden house with only two floors, but it focuses on horizontal development. In the evening, when the mist rises, it feels like you are in the scene of a Kindaichi detective novel.

Be sure to choose "Western food" for dinner, so that you can have the opportunity to eat French cuisine that is a fusion of Japanese and Western styles. The most amazing thing was the "meat dish" with Aomori beef as the main ingredient. It was the first time I had eaten such soft and delicious beef. Even if you compare it with Michelin-starred cuisine, it won’t necessarily be outdone. The dessert at the end was the perfect end to the dinner. Remember to choose coffee as a drink to go with your dessert, it will bring the whole dessert to another level.
