Sannai-Maruyama Site in Aomori

The Sannai-Maruyama Site, located in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, is the largest and best-preserved Jomon period settlement site in the country, dating back approximately 5,500 to 4,000 years. It is accessible by bus from Aomori Station or Shin-Aomori Station, taking about 30 minutes. Visitors typically spend around an hour here, but those interested in the Jomon period may choose to stay longer.
