An exciting and colorful cultural experience

#asiabudgetchallenge
Visiting Nebuta Museum WA RASSE in Aomori was an exciting and colorful cultural experience. The museum showcases the artistry behind Aomori’s famous Nebuta Festival, featuring full-sized illuminated floats, hands-on exhibits, and performance videos that bring the summer celebration to life all year round. The highlight was standing beside the massive floats—each one hand-crafted with incredible detail. The museum is well-organized, interactive, and great for both kids and adults.

Rough Budget: ¥600 (admission fee) + ¥400–¥600 for snacks/souvenirs

Travel Tip: Visit in the morning to avoid tour groups and get the best photo opportunities with the giant floats without crowds.
