Introducing Garden Street

Garden Street, located at the intersection of the middle section of Changjiang Road and the southern section of Royalstar Avenue, is also known as the Garden within the Garden or the Street Center Park because of its location at the center of the Ring City Park and in the heart of Hefei. Garden Street is an open, north-south strip of parkland. Rows of stone benches are arranged along the street, providing Hefei residents with a convenient spot to relax, rest, and enjoy the scenery.

The park is 20 meters wide and 400 meters long , with a 26 -meter-wide roadway and sidewalks on both sides . At the south end is a three-tiered fountain complex, with various spherical, cylindrical, and umbrella-shaped fountains flowing gracefully, illuminated by colorful lights, like graceful hibiscus flowers and swaying chrysanthemums.

To the north of the fountain square is a series of abstract sculptures with themes of science and technology , nature, and life. They include " Hands · World , " reflecting the broad-minded sentiments of the people of Jianghuai; " Life · Movement , " revealing the relationship between man and nature ; " Permanence , " demonstrating the infinity of the world; " Sundial , " showcasing ancient civilization; and " Peace, " expressing humanity's beautiful wishes. Three sturdy white marble columns, in a freehand style, embody the " past, present, and future " of scientific development , leaving visitors with endless space for lingering imagination.
