This museum opened in 2006 and is located next to the Sannai Maruyama ruins in Aomori City.
It is famous for Yoshitomo Nara's work "Aomori Dog" that stands in the outdoor space.

Located near the Ishigedo rest area of the Oirase Stream, the stream is complex and fast-flowing, and is said to be the most beautiful point in the Oirase Stream.

Hirosaki Castle, located in Hirosaki Park, is the northernmost castle tower in Japan that still exists.
The castle tower and turrets built in the Edo period are designated as important cultural properties of Japan.
