Chasing Autumn in the Greater Khingan Range, One-Day Special Forces Tour in Arxan

This time at the Tianchi Service Area, I saw the sunrise over the sea of clouds and the sunset glow, at Wusulangzi Lake I saw stunning reflections, climbed to Tuofengling to see the beautiful Tianchi, and at Budong River I captured the starry Milky Way. My last day in Arxan was truly fulfilling.

5:20 AM wake up, put on clothes and take the camera out
5:45 AM arrived at Budong River, just in time to see the morning glow, sunrise, and sea of clouds, with cattle and sheep leisurely grazing by the riverbank;

6:40 AM chartered a car to Wusulangzi Lake, by the time I arrived the fog had cleared, but I still saw the perfectly calm lake surface with stunning reflections. Just as a boat passed by, it stirred ripples like fate;

7:10 AM returned, stopped by the Blue House to take a few photos (not very good)
7:50 AM back at Tianchi Service Area, washed up, put on makeup, and had breakfast

8:50 AM left for the transfer center, took the shuttle to Tuofengling Tianchi
10:10 AM arrived at Tuofengling, climbed to the top of the mountain. The first viewing platform was crowded, so I went further where the scenery was even more beautiful, kept walking and taking photos nonstop

1:00 PM descended to the transfer point, took a car to the Grand Canyon. It was very large and I walked for a long time. Personally, I found it quite ordinary and would recommend skipping this spot;

2:30 PM arrived at the transfer point, took a car to Azalea Lake, which was more beautiful than the Grand Canyon. Sitting by the lake was especially comfortable;
3:20 PM arrived at the transfer point, took a car to Shitanglin. The scenery was okay but not as good as Azalea Lake;

4:10 PM arrived at the transfer point, took a car back to Tianchi Service Area, then headed straight to Budong River to watch the sunset, watching the sun dye the earth and all living things golden;
5:40 PM sunset, returned to Tianchi Service Area, went to the restaurant behind Bugu Mingju for dinner;

6:40 PM back to the hotel to rest
7:30 PM hiked to Budong River viewing platform to shoot the starry sky. The WeChat mini program Tianxing Tong said the best time to view the Milky Way that night was 7:30-9:00 PM

9:30 PM returned to the hotel, stopped by the barbecue stall in front of Tianma Mountain Villa to eat 6 skewers of grilled lamb, which were especially delicious, 5 yuan per skewer;

Actually, I stayed in Arxan for three nights. It rained the first two days, and only the last day was sunny, so all the beautiful spots were arranged for the last day. The schedule was a bit tight but still fulfilling;
Personally, I think the three best spots are Tuofengling Tianchi, Wusulangzi Lake, and Budong River.
