Risonare Atami Afternoon Tea/Shizuoka

During our stay at Risonare Atami, we enjoyed the "Plum Blossom Afternoon Tea," themed around Atami's plum blossoms, which are known as the earliest blooming in Japan 🫖

While cherry blossom-themed afternoon teas are common, a plum blossom theme is quite rare 😳
All the sweets and savory items were inspired by seven varieties of early-blooming plum blossoms found in Atami Plum Garden, and the drinks included green tea, paying homage to Shizuoka Prefecture, famous for its tea 🍵
