• With an elevation of 911.7m, this low mountain is beginner-friendly. The height difference from the trailhead to the summit is about 300–400m, and the well-maintained walking paths make it an easy hike of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes 
• From the summit and observation points along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Northern Alps and the rural landscape of Azumino! On clear days, you can even see the peaks of Mount Jōnen and Mount Yari—a stunning sight

• ⛅ To the trailhead: A 20–30 minute walk from JR Tazawa Station, or drive to the Hikarujo Mountain trailhead parking lot (space for about 30 cars) 
• 🎽 Hiking time: About 1 hour to ascend / Add 2 hours for a traverse to Nagamine Mountain and descent (a 4-hour round trip is also possible◎) 
• ⛩ Facilities: Toilets and information boards available. The walking paths are well-maintained for safety.
