Hidden in the alleys of Taoyuan Bade, Gaocheng Pond Ecological Park is a quiet and natural spot, free from the hustle and bustle of tourism and commercialization. It's perfect for daydreaming, strolling, escaping the crowds, or simply taking a moment to breathe.

As soon as you step in, you'll be greeted by a serene pond stretching out before you. When the breeze blows, the water surface sparkles, creating an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The area is surrounded by lush greenery, and the air carries a faint scent of grass. A wooden boardwalk encircles the lake, taking about 20 minutes to complete, but the best way to enjoy it is to slow down, observe the reflections on the water, the birds by the shore, and the occasional turtle 🐢 popping its head out.

The most fascinating part is the abundance of water birds here, and they’re completely unafraid of humans! You’ll often spot egrets on the grass, beside the boardwalk, or near the bushes, along with other large birds standing idly.
