The Palace of the Shirvanshahs is a 15th-century palace complex located in Icherisheher, Baku, Azerbaijan. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, along with the Shirvanshah Palace, it stands as a symbol of the Shirvanshah dynasty's glorious past. It blends Persian, Arabic, and Azerbaijani architectural styles and is renowned for its exquisite stone carvings, arches, and decorative tiles. The complex includes the palace, palace mosque, monastery, mausoleum (Turbe), bathhouse (Udan), and banquet hall, all interconnected, creating a sense of a small city. Monochrome black and white photos create a more textured feel.
