Pingtung Travel Series: Eluanbi Lighthouse ≠ Southernmost Point of Taiwan!

The historic lighthouse, with its blue skies, green fields, and azure sea, is truly beautiful. The view is also very open, with vast grasslands and the lighthouse standing tall among them. Walking here can be very relaxing. It's a great spot for taking photos, with my favorite blue skies, white clouds, green fields, and white buildings.

Many people think that the southernmost point of Taiwan is the Eluanbi Lighthouse. In fact, there is a hidden spot even further south, located in the southeast of Kenting National Park!

There is a representative landmark at Taiwan's southernmost point, a spiral-shaped conch design. The two separate stone monuments symbolize the interdependence of land and sea. You can enjoy the endless charming sea view, surrounded by the Bashi Channel, Taiwan Strait, and the Pacific Ocean. Watching the sunrise and sunset while feeling the sea breeze instantly broadens your mind!
