Boho vibes in Bingin beach

Follow the little groups of Bali's cool crowds with surf boards in hand and sand-covered bare feet, or look for signs made of repurposed wood. Bingin Beach is a bohemian refuge that might be difficult to locate unless you know where you're going - or who to follow. This cliff-based beach is a favorite of Bali's sunbathers and sunning enthusiasts, with ideal waves and little sandy coves for swimming at low tide.

To get to and from the beach (there are uneven, steep steps from the top of the cliff to the sands), you'll need to be somewhat active, but your efforts will be well rewarded. There are also plenty of low-cost beach accommodations along the cliffside, making this a good site for low-cost vacations or a no-frills sunset on a blanket.
