Definitely amazing and breathtaking spot in Bali despite the sun striking on you. Beautiful landscape with history. Its quite far from Kuta city - around 1 hour plus drive and can be more due to traffic especially heading back after the Kecak Dance Performance.

There is 2 slot for the Kecak dance and let me tell you the pro and cons for both show. If you went for the first show, you might need to bare with the heat but you got to enjoy the sunset while watching the show. For the second show, it will be dark but you can escape the heat and enjoy the show with comfort.

Its the best to book the show ticket online as the queue can be really long and you might didn’t get the first show if you want to see the sunset. Monkeys here quite cheeky so beware of your belongings. Bring a bottle of water, folded/battery fan, umbrella and sunscreen with you.
