The natural beauty of Diamond beach

Diamond Beach is located on the island of Nusa Penida, Indonesia. We were blown away by the turquoise waters, towering cliffs and unique rock formations.

To make the 1 hr drive worth it, I decided to go down to the beach only to discover that it was not an easy descend. The steps were carved into the cliffside and it was steep. Ropes were used as handrails and to lower or pull oneself up. I was worried of getting injured but we reached the beach safely after 20 mins. Going back up was also 20mins and I was panting.

Despite all that, it was a great mini rock climbing experience and my bf capturing that photo of me made everything worthwhile.

*The waves were strong and there's a signboard that says no swimming*
