[Indonesia/Bali] Spectacular view from the popular tourist spot Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is a popular tourist spot that most visitors to Bali will visit.

Uluwatu Temple is famous for its Kecak Dance, but before you can see the Kecak Dance, you can see the Uluwatu Temple and a spectacular view.

To enter Uluwatu Temple, you need to purchase a ticket at the entrance. Since we were on a tour, we paid in advance for the ticket, but tickets normally cost 50,000 rupiah (approx. 465 yen) per adult and 20,000 rupiah (approx. 186 yen) per child.
(The Kecak Dance is a separate fee.)

Uluwatu Temple is about a 90-minute drive from Kuta or Sanur, and if you're traveling independently, be sure to arrange a taxi or Grab for the return trip, otherwise you may not be able to catch one and be stuck.

If you're going to see the Kecak Dance, we recommend arriving about an hour earlier to enjoy the spectacular view at Uluwatu Temple!
