Tanah Lot Temple, the most famous temple on Bali Island, is located on a rock by the sea and is one of the seven temples built along the coast of Bali. Tanah Lot is a temple situated on a rock by the sea in the western central part of Bali Island. It is located on an offshore rock formation in a bay created by wave erosion. The temple is built on a rock that resembles a small island. During high tide, it appears as if the temple is in the middle of the sea. During low tide, people can walk across the path to the temple.
