IDEA FOR A ONE-WEEK BALI TRIP (Day 1)

❗️Criteria:
- student-pocket-friendly, no bar/club, no rush
objectives:
- to experience what is rare or different from what i experience in other places

🛼 Transportation: We book a car with driver and I swear he and his car are the nicest throughout my 2 years in Indonesia. Super friendly, reasonable price and fluent English => 💯💯💯
We also randomly order grab/gojek at night or when it’s not too far

📅 Day 1:

🍽️ Our flight arrived at around 11am, then we go to Warung Chef Bagus for lunch. Quick review:
- Reasonable price
- Taste really good
- Might look little but our family of 3 adults still end up cannot finish everything because we’re too full

📍Tanah Lot:
- Have a lot of stores,as well as cafes with view to the cliff, but people at the ones when you first enter seems to be more friendly than those at the cafes with view.
- Not too expensive for tourist if you know how to bargain, some with fixed prices so you can just see the menu.
- The view is nice but not that impressive for me, probably because it’s a little bit crowded and not yet sunset time when I got there.

📍Hotel check in in Ubud
🪟 De Munut Balinese Resort:
- Reasonable price
- The room is spacious with wooden interior
- The bed is big and comfortable
- Semi-outdoor bathroom with bath tub but tbh i don’t like it because it doesn’t feel clean
- The room somehow is super humid..
- Staff was kind and supportive
- Pool is available but I don’t think they clean it frequently so it looks dirty

🪟 Kawi Hotel Resort:
- Nice and clean, love their design and architecture
- Love their restaurant because the view to the jungle is so calming
- I think there are more than 1 pool (?)
- Idk if it’s just me or the bath tub smeels weird..
- A little bit far from Ubud Night Market and it gets really dark and quite at night, so I don’t recommend to come back too late or use motorcycle

📍Ubud Night Market: Not recommend if you don’t know how to bargain lol. But it’s nice to walk around and find restaurant to eat. Idk but i just love the vibes here.

End of day 1 💕
