Tegalalang Rice Terrace near Ubud was a breathtaking blend of nature and tradition. We arrived early to catch the sunrise, when soft golden light bathed the emerald paddies in a quiet glow. The layered terraces curved gracefully along the hillside, showcasing Bali’s ancient subak irrigation system. Walking the narrow paths between fields felt peaceful and grounding, with farmers tending crops and birdsong in the air. While swings and photo spots dotted the area, we focused on the natural rhythm and serene views. Sturdy shoes were a must—the terrain was steep and sometimes slippery. Tegalalang offered more than a photo op—it was a soulful glimpse into Bali’s agricultural heart.
